Multi-Facility Access Opens Door to
Faster ROI and Easier Customer Service
The
RAPIDGate Program's Multi-Facility Access feature allows your company and its employees to access more than one
RAPIDGate installation using a single
RAPIDGate account and badge. Once your company has successfully enrolled at a
RAPIDGate installation, you can request access authorization at other
RAPIDGate installations simply by calling the
RAPIDGate Program at 1-877-RAPIDGate. Then your employees have the convenience and simplicity of using one badge to access multiple installations.
Best of all, the cost for each additional installation is a fraction of the initial program fees. Your company will get a greater return on your investment and serve more customers more efficiently.
Multi-facility access is available for these
RAPIDGate installations:

Camp Pendleton,

-

Multi-facility access is simple. When your company enrolls with the
RAPIDGate
Program, just tell our Customer Service Representatives which
installations you service. Similarly, when your employees register in
the program, tell us which installations they need to access. In fact,
once your employees are using the program, you can add installation
enrollments and employee access at any time by calling
1-877-RAPIDGate (1-877-727-4342).
Our Customer Service Representatives do the
rest. They will enroll your company at each requested installation for
only $49 per installation. They will then enable employee access at the
additional installations, according to your instructions, for only $29
per installation. We make it as easy as possible for you to get all the
time and cost savings at every
RAPIDGate installation your company services.
For more information, and to start multi-facility access right now, call 1-877-RAPIDGate (1-877-727-4342).
* Multi-facility access to the Coast Guard Headquarters and DHS Nebraska Avenue Complex will be available September 19, 2007.
RAPIDGate Program Saves $10M for Companies Nationwide
Time saved is money saved. That's the main reason why companies across the country have enrolled in the
RAPIDGate Program.
When your employees have to drive farther
to access an unrestricted gate, that's time they are not on-site. When
they sit in lines waiting for a security screen or inspection, they're
wasting your time. When they have to park their vehicles to get a day
pass, that's money out of your pocket.
By making more gates available for access,
by simplifying certain security procedures, and by eliminating the need
for day passes and trips to the Visitor Center, the
RAPIDGate Program saves your company time.
So what does it all add up to?
Consider an average time savings of 20 minutes per entry, a conservative estimate (see the Mercer Transportation article in this issue).
Let's also estimate an average cost for a driver and company vehicle at
$30 per hour. Over its first million badgeholder visits, the
RAPIDGate
Program has saved its participating companies $10 million just in time
regained. That's one reason why thousands of businesses have
registered tens of thousands of employees to date.
Of course, this calculation does not
take into account the related benefits of higher customer service
levels, less overhead, and lower risk.
Visit the
RAPIDGate Web site for more information on all the ways the
RAPIDGate Program helps you do business with secure installations.
RAPIDGate Program
Helps to
Keep
Mercer Transportation Moving
Since 1977, Mercer Transportation
Company has operated as a truckload carrier of general
commodities. From its headquarters in
Louisville, Kentucky, the company operates throughout the continental
United States and Canada, with interline service to and from Mexico.
The company offers flatbed, dry van, drop deck and special equipment
services, and has been a
RAPIDGate Program customer since 2004.
"Mercer Transportation has many trucks going in and out of Fort Lewis. Without the
RAPIDGate
Program, it would take 90 minutes just to get a pass and clear the
gate," explains Thomas McClure, Western Regional Operations Manager.
"This is not acceptable. We really don't want our trucks parked outside
a gate. Using their
RAPIDGate badges, our drivers get right through."
Streamlined access into Fort Lewis saves
the company time and money. Plus it makes it easier to meet customer
expectations seven days a week. "The
RAPIDGate Program helps even more on weekends, when our contacts may not be on the post to verify a delivery."
Mr. McClure sees the value of leveraging the
RAPIDGate
Program across as many customers as possible, the reason for the new
Multi-Facility Access feature (see story in this issue). "We have about
50
RAPIDGate Badgeholders, and they really like the
program. It is a real blessing for me and the drivers. And when we can
get onto the other bases as well, that will be more of a blessing."
"The program saves time, is more convenient, and helps our company serve the Army better."

Fort Lee
Becomes Twelfth RAPIDGate Installation
On
July 12, Fort Lee, VA, instituted new and more restrictive access
procedures that affect non-military personnel who require routine
access to Fort Lee. To mitigate the impact of these regulations on
vendors, suppliers, contractors and subcontractors, Fort Lee has
deployed the RAPIDGate Program, making it the twelfth RAPIDGate installation nationwide.
Companies participating in the RAPIDGate
Program have access to Fort Lee through multiple gates and enjoy
streamlined access procedures, which saves them time and money.
All
companies who require routine access to the post received a letter
regarding the change in the entry protocols. Information about the RAPIDGate Program is available on the post at the Lee Gate Building.
