Savings Equal to Two Full-Time Employees

Waiting in line used to be a waste of time for LeMay, Inc., a family-owned recycling and refuse hauling company providing service to the Fort Lewis Army base in Washington State.

"We could have some drivers have to go on base multiple times. They had to be stopped and searched each time," explains Kristi Bender, Office Manager at LeMay.

The RAPIDGate Program has since sped things up for LeMay. By entering through any one of 10 gates, and bypassing long lines at the commercial gate, LeMay drivers have doubled their individual number of trips on and off base each day from three to six. This increased productivity is equal to the effort of two additional drivers.

"We have approximately 65 employees that have RAPIDGate badges," says Bender. "The cost for the badges is far less than the cost of two full time employees with benefits. With the RAPIDGate Program, we're able to give better customer service and we have saved a lot of money."

Improving Security and Access at Camp Pendleton

The RAPIDGate Program is up and running at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. Already hundreds of companies have enrolled and thousands of their personnel are enjoying faster, more convenient access onto the base. The RAPIDGate community at Camp Pendleton includes all sizes of companies, from large construction and financial services firms to individual plumbers and photographers.

Camp Pendleton covers over 125,000 acres between San Diego and Los Angeles, and includes the Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook. Being able to chose the most convenient gate, and avoiding lines at more crowded gates, clearly saves time and improves customer service. The RAPIDGate Program facilitates entry all year long into seven gates of this sprawling installation. Companies who do not enroll in the program must enter through one of only three gates, and must apply for a 30-day pass. Camp Pendleton is the first Marine Corps facility to deploy the RAPIDGate Program.

  • Don't Let Former Employees Get to Your Customers!

Allowing a former employee to continue to use his or her RAPIDGate Badge represents a risk for you and for your customer.

Terminating access privileges is easy! Just call (877) 727-4342 to let the RAPIDGate Customer Support Representatives (CSRs) know that an employee no longer works for you. The CSR can terminate that employee's access privileges in minutes. That helps protect your company, and your customer, from the risk of a former employee gaining unauthorized access to a secure RAPIDGate facility.
