The RAPIDGate® Program
The RAPIDGate Program by Eid Passport, Inc., offers an “end to end” identity management and installation access control solution for vendors, contractors and subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers, who require and are approved for access to the installation or facility. To participate in the RAPIDGate Program all participants are subject to comprehensive background screenings with ongoing additional screenings throughout the year.
Program features include:
- Registration
- Sponsorship & Background Screening
- Manufacturing of Identification Credentials
- Electronic Biometric Enforcement Process
- Access Privileges
- Be On the Lookout (BOLO) Messages
RAPIDGate-Premier™ Option (Multi-Installation Access)
Companies enrolled in the RAPIDGate Program are able to request access privileges for their employees to multiple RAPIDGate installations and facilities across the United States. The RAPIDGate Program verifies sponsorship authorization for each installation the company desires to access, and manages the assigned employee access privileges installation by installation. This option allows companies to enjoy the efficiency of one program and their employees to appreciate the efficiency and convenience of one credential.
RAPIDGate-90® Option
The RAPIDGate-90 Option of the RAPIDGate Program was developed to meet the needs of vendors and contractors who require short-term (90 days or less) access to installations. The RAPIDGate-90 Option is ideal for seasonal vendor employees, companies with short-duration contracts or contract extensions, high turnover employees, and probationary employees.
RAPIDGate-90 participants undergo the same registration process, receive the same comprehensive background screening, are issued the same identification credential, and follow the same enforcement process as standard RAPIDGate Program participants. This option saves resources at the Pass and Decal locations by eliminating the burden of issuing short-term passes to company employees and increases security by vetting and credentialing more of the population accessing the installation.
RAPID-RCx® Program
The RAPID-RCx Program provides quick verification of multiple credentials presented for access approval at installation access control points including the Common Access Card (CAC), Military Retiree and Dependent Identification, and United States and Canada Issued Department of Motor Vehicles licenses and identification cards. The program verifies proper credential format, checks for expiration and compares to installation-provided negative lists (i.e. No Entry and Debarment) and open source negative databases.
RAPID-Zone™ Program
The RAPID-Zone Program increases security by providing enclaving for secure locations and buildings within the installation perimeter. The program manages access for installation-designated individuals including CAC and RAPIDGate credential-holders.
The program includes:
- Customizable access privileges - down to the per person level
- Control any number of interior or exterior locations
- Electronically monitor access
- Differing access privileges at each secure location
- Disable access privileges at any time for any zone
RAPID-IAC™ Program
The RAPID-IAC Program provides registration, sponsorship, background screening and credentialing for the sponsored non-vendor/contractor populations including volunteers, morale welfare recreation, foreign nationals, and frequent visitors.
The installation can customize the program to meet the specific needs of the various populations that require installation access. The installation selects one of the background screening options and assigns specific access privileges for each of the specified populations.
RAPID-IAC background screening options include:
- No background screening
- National Database screening
- 2 year address based background screening with a re-occurring electronic database screen
- 10 year address based background screening with a re-occurring electronic database screen
All programs include the following services at no additional charge:
Training
Eid Passport performs training throughout several stages of the implementation for installation leadership, the command’s tenants and organizations/agencies; the installation's program Point of Contact (POC), and force protection personnel. Different types of training are provided for the various populations of users and participants.
Maintenance
The RAPIDGate Solution has been in continuous operation in the field for more than five years with proven reliability and dependability. Maintenance and lifecycle replacement for all system software and hardware (under normal wear and tear conditions) is provided for the RAPIDGate Solution at no charge to the Government.
Program Support
Eid Passport has a program support team designated to meet all customer service needs. The team is available to answer questions and/or requests for all Eid Passport’s programs and services. Examples of support include questions about our programs, background screenings, reporting, requests for ad hoc reports, and RAPIDGate credential access revocations.
Strategic Program Management
The RAPIDGate Solution Strategic Program Managers (SPM) provide ongoing service to ensure government customer satisfaction and utilization of each program. We do not just sell a program, product or service and then walk away. We are partners in improving the security and safety of your installation or facility.
Relationships are developed and maintained from the initiation and implementation of the RAPIDGate Solution through the life of each program. “Best Practice” processes, procedures, templates and sample documents are used to provide consistency in implementation and ongoing support of each program in the solution.
Reporting Capabilities
With the RAPIDGate Solution, installations and facilities now have visibility to the populations accessing their installation. This provides them with key insight on who is accessing the base so they can make confident and informed decisions regarding access protocols, granting access privileges, standard operating procedures, and manpower requirements and efficiencies.
All programs track credential-holder ingress transactions by day, time and access control point, using handheld devices that are in communication with a secured central server. Monthly activity reports are provided. In addition, credential-holder ingress information can be made available to authorized personnel for law enforcement or other security investigation purposes.
